The history of the Roy Robson brand began in 1922. The opening of a small studio in the capital of Germany determined the further fate of the company – by 1930, thirty people worked in the workshop. In 1944, at the height of hostilities, the company had to leave its native Berlin and move to a city near Hamburg. The following years in Lüneburg gave new impetus to the development of the business: Bruno Kirches, the ex-owner of the company, not only expanded production, but also opened an additional factory in Dannenberg. Under the motto: “Hergestellt in Deutschland”, he turned a small family business into a competitive manufacturer of men’s suits and jackets in Western Europe. In 1970, the business was taken over by the Westermann family, who took over the entire menswear production process. The use of modern technologies in the work allowed the company to enter the world market. So, in 1987, the brand name was born – Roy Robson.
In 2022, the Roy Robson brand turns 100 years old. The first 100 years are just the beginning, says Frederik Westermann, Managing Director of the family business. “Love for our craft will inspire us for the next century.”

The collection is produced under license from the German company Vistan Brillen GmbH in compliance with the highest quality standards. Models in titanium, acetate, stainless steel and TR-90 feature attention to detail and an attractive, modern design.
